Exceptionally well-written and organized stories of how God still performs miracles - they were not limited to the Old and New Testament. I loved the way the stories were recounted: the level of detail, the "connecting of the dots", the concise presentation of each story, the way they were broken up into critical elements of faith and prayer. Highly recommend it to anyone, whether they are strong in their faith, struggling, or don't currently believe but are looking for meaning and understanding in this life. What I appreciated the most is that this book is not a "cheerleader" for faith. It fully acknowledges that terrible things happen in life, we don't always understand them, and we may not get the answer we were hoping for (at least not in this life). However, it is a forceful reminder that, despite the above, there is still a strength, courage, and peace that can come through faith and prayer despite.
