REVIEW

17 year old Kim is on her way to London for a school trip (it is more of a scholastic trip). At first Kim really wanted to go because her boyfriend Connor was going, but then he broke up with her. And now as her plane is delayed she has to sit and watch him get all cozy with his new girlfriend. But then Kim has a chance meeting with Nicki. They get to talking during the flight, Kim all bout Connor and Nicki about her drunk mother. And then Kim makes a list of all the reasons why she hates Connor and he should die. While Kim thought it was all in fun, Nicki has other ideas. Connor dies in what appears to be an accident, and then Kim starts getting messages from Nicki that she now owes her a murder. Kim knows she cannot go to the police, no one would believe her. She tries to just ignore Nicki, but she keeps showing up and threatening not only Kim but the people she loves. I really did like this book, but I did think the beginning part was a bit on the slow side. But then it did pick up and there were lots of plot twists that I did not see coming. The closer it got to the end, I found myself getting more on the edge of my seat and could not wait to find out how this was going to all play out. And I really did like how ended up playing out. This was told from Kim’s POV and I really liked her. Liked having the view as to what was going on in her mind and what she was thinking and planning to do next. I liked the growth she had in the book. How she didn’t just roll up in a ball and take what Nicki was doing. She tried to figure things out. And I liked how she made the most out of her trip and how she would try new things that were out of her comfort zone (she is afraid out heights, but ended up going on the London Eye) . I thought she was a great character all around. My next favorite was Alex. He was such a geek and I loved him. He had me chuckling a few times.
